Linda
Rinier began her Pilates studies in 1997 at Goucher College.
In 2000, under the tutelage of master instructors Romana
Kryzanowska, Sari Pace and Bob Liekens, Linda was certified
as an instructor of Authentic Pilates™ through Pilates,
Inc® of New York. Since certification, Linda has taught
at Goucher College (including an academic Pilates class
for Goucher students), The Yoga Center of Columbia and Tai
Sophia Institute for the Healing Arts. In 2004 Linda received
her level 5 IITP Pilates Teacher Certification from Romana’s

In addition to her Pilates studies, Linda is a graduate
of the Yoga Center of Columbia’s Teacher Training
Program and has studied Medical Qi Gong and Advanced Medical
Qi Gong with Karl Ardo. In 2005 Linda opened the first Authentic
Pilates Center in the Columbia area dedicated to teaching
Romana’s Pilates originally taught by Joseph Pilates.
As an instructor, Linda has worked very successfully with
a wide range of clients, including but not limited to athletes,
senior citizens, people struggling from chronic illness
and pain, and the average person seeking to learn the true
Pilates method. Her clients benefit from her openness about
her own experiences as a student of Pilates as well as the
knowledge that she has gained from her interest in yoga,
anatomy and nutrition. Understanding that learning never
ceases, Linda regularly attends continuing education courses
in the Pilates method.
Julia
Clime - Certified Instructor

Julia
Clime has studied dance at the Academy of Maryland Youth
Ballet and Goucher College where she received a B.A. in
both Dance and French. While attending Goucher, Julie was
inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and won several academic scholarships
and awards. She has performed with the Maryland Youth Ballet,
Kimberly Mackin Dance Company, Howard County Ballet, Baltimore
Choral Arts Society, Baltimore Opera Company and Central
City Opera. In 2002 she received her M.A. in Francophone
studies from the University of Leeds in Leeds, England.
Julia began her Pilates training with Elizabeth Ahern and
Lynne Balliette at Goucher College in 1997. She continued
her training in New York City with Master Instructors Romana
Kryzanowska, Sari Mejia Santo, and Bob Liekens, completing
her Pilates apprenticeship in December 1999. She has taught
as a certified Instructor of Authentic Pilates ™ since
2000 throughout the Baltimore, Maryland area and in Leeds,
England. In 2004 Julia received her Level 5 IITP Pilates
Teacher Certification from Romana’s Pilates. In addition,
Julia has been accredited through ACE to provide continuing
education to ACE certified fitness professionals. She is
currently on staff of the Pilates Center at Goucher College
where her workload includes an academic Pilates class for
Goucher students.
Genevieve
Keelty - Certified Instructor

Genevieve Keelty attended the Baltimore School for the Arts. She graduated from Butler
University in 2004 with a BFA in Dance Performance where she was a member of the Butler
Ballet. After graduation, Genevieve took dance classes in New York and Dance Place in DC
where she performed as a guest artist. She studied Pilates at The Pilates Center with Linda
Rinier and Victoria Torrie and was accepted into the Romana's Pilates Instructor
Certification Program in September, 2006. Genevieve received her level 5 IITP Pilates
Teacher Certification from Romana's Pilates in 2007. She completed over 650 hours in the
program apprenticing with Romana Kryzanowska, Sari Mejia Santos, and Daria Pace at True
Pilates in New York City. In addition, Genevieve studied with Michael Rooks and Andrea
Burkholder at Pure Joe Pilates in Washington DC. Genevieve plans to continue her Pilate's
education taking lessons with Romana, Sari, and Daria, as well as participating in
continuing education seminars.
Genevieve is very athletic. She enjoys sharing her fitness experiences with others. She has
a thorough understanding of the complexities of teaching Pilates and enthusiastically works to
help others achieve their physical fitness goals. Genevieve is skilled in working with all
age groups and body types. As a full-time instructor at The Pilates Center, Genevieve is
dedicated to teaching the work of Joseph Pilates.
Becky
Kelley - Certified Instructor
Becky
Kelley received her B.S. in physical education in 1979 from
the University of Pittsburgh. She has been teaching various
types of exercise in the Baltimore area for over 20 years.
Becky has studied Pilates since 1996 at Goucher College.
In 2004 she received her Pilate’s certification in
New York under master instructors Romana Kryzanowska and
Sari Mejia Santo. Her Pilates teaching experience includes
Gerstung, Harbor Fitness Bikram Yoga Studio in Hampden,
and NBP Fitness Center where she works full-time. Becky
was the fitness director at Meadow Mill Athletic Club and
is certified in personal training, including spinning classes,
and has competed in bodybuilding competitions through the
NPC (Natural Physique Committee) placing second and third
in her weight class. Becky is a graduate from the Baltimore
School of Massage specializing in Swedish and deep tissue
massage. As a cancer survivor Becky brings her personal
experiences to the studio.
Jessica
Stephenson - Certified Instructor

Jessica
Stephenson began her dance training in Austin, Texas where
she was a member of the Texas Youth Ballet and an apprentice
with the Austin Contemporary Ballet. After relocation to
Maine, she participated on full scholarship in CORPS (Collaborative
Recognition Performance Scholars) and joined the Portland
Ballet Company, performing as soloist and member of the
corps in “The Nutcracker”, “Carmina Burana”,
“Bolero”, and others.
In 1999 Jessica was invited to perform with the Ram Island
Dance Company and later that year moved to New York to study
professionally at the Joffrey Ballet/ New School University’s
BFA Program. There she studied with Rachel Berman, Eleanor
D’ Antuano, David Howard and Katharine Posin, Trinette
Singleton, among others. In 2002 she moved to Maryland to
pursue her BA Degree in Psychology and was an active member
of Goucher College’s Dance Department, working with
notable artists such as Robert Moses and Paul Vasterling.
After graduating from Goucher College in 2004, Jessica moved
back to New York to become certified under master Pilates
instructors, Romana Kryzanowska and Sari Mejia-Santo.
Jessica has performed professionally with New York Dance
Theater, VanDance Inc., The Art of the Solo, and as free-lance
artist on numerous projects. Currently she is performing
with Adrienne Clancy’s Maryland based dance company,
ClancyWorks. She also teaches dance and Pilates at Goucher
College, the Sudbrook Arts Centre and the Maryland School
of Ballet and Modern Dance. Jessica enjoys laughter, the
ocean, and is delighted to be working with the lovely and
diverse people of MD.
